We are not the only who suffers for 18 hours of load-shedding but there are others who have not the experience of the blink of electricity light.why are we lacking for the development of hydropower energy when we already entered to the development since 1911 A.D. (Pharping Hydropower Plant 500kilo watts (KW) is the present needs to be sort out for.
The findings from the study could be the one that helps for the future planning and monitoring. Nepal Electricity Authority(NEA) was the only one in the country which works for the development of Hydropower and Electrification in the Nepal. Since the new Hydropower Policy 2001 A.D. seeks to promote private sector investment till the date numerous small project has been constructed.

The debate today between NEA and the private sector is the capacity of the project since there are projects above 25 Mega Watt (MW) developed by the private sectors that can be counted in fingers.
The main problem in the development from private sector is  revenue and heavy tax.While there are number of affected people by SHP or HEP in the abundant area.

Besides we are concentrating on SHP why don't we go for large projects to meet the present demands.There might be other alternatives energy too including the solar energy and nuclear energy for the future prospects.
We do have lots of opportunity that needs to be addressed with the time constraints.Once a hydropower project is constructed then there won't be anyone going for the past.Loadshedding is not the major problem for the sustainable development, individual should be morally and ethically be disciplined for the overall development of a Nations.
